No GP referral is needed as I work privately & outside of Medicare. (Note a Mental Health Care Plan under Medicare requires a diagnosis of a mental health condition.) I'm happy to collaborate with your existing health care provider, including your GP if this is your preference.

Online video counselling & telephone counselling offers many benefits including:
The ability to access counselling from the comfort and safety of your own home (perhaps with a cherished comforting pet) or from another secure/safe location.
Can be undertaken at convenient times, including after hours.
It may be particularly suitable for people with mobility issues, those who live in remote geographic areas or those who are simply too busy to spend time commuting to therapy sessions.
Many clients often report finding online therapy 'less intimidating & scary' & that they get much more benefit from sessions conducted online.
My online services are available to anyone living in Australia and so geographical constraints are not an issue. This allows consumers a much greater choice to work with a counsellor of their choosing.
